Dr. John Marraccini Bio

John V. Marraccini, M.D. practices with Dr. Linda Marraccini at their Family Practice. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Practice at the Florida International University Wertheim College of Medicine. He is a member of the Surgical Case Review Committee at Doctors Hospital, on the Infection Control Committee also at Doctors Hospital, as well and an Attending Physician at the Department of Family Practice, all in the Baptist Health System.

Dr. Marraccini received his B.S. at the University of Miami majoring in Chemistry and went on to receive his M.D. in 1978 from Harvard Medical School majoring in Infectious Diseases. Finally he received a mini-fellowship in Family Practice from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. He also is Board Certified in Anatomic, Clinical, and forensic Pathology.

Dr. Marraccini holds a license in Medicine & Surgery in the state of Florida, since 1980. He is a member of the Florida Medical Association and an active member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premed Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

John V. Marraccini, M.D. has had the honor of being published in local and national publications on various subjects as well as giving countless numbers of lectures and training in the medical field.

John V. Marraccini, M.D. is married with two adult children. With the support of his family he has been able to receive accolades and honors that include; Who’s Who in Science, Strathmore’s Who’s Who, Who’s Who Among Rising Young Americans, a United Way Volunteer Service Award, and continues to volunteer at the Good News Clinic in Miami Florida.
